Stained glass window film for churches
Bring meaningful color and light to your sanctuary with custom UV-printed decorative film, designed for your windows and professionally applied to glass.

A custom stained-glass effect, made for your church
Our decorative window film combines colored artwork, simulated leading, and available raised UV-varnish textures on an optically clear film with acrylic adhesive. It is applied to suitable glass to create a stained-glass-inspired appearance.
Choose a traditional jewel-toned window, a quiet chapel composition, or a coordinated sanctuary series. Our team develops the color, symbolism, print treatment, and panel layout around your building and congregation.
- Crosses, doves, lilies, chalices, and other approved religious imagery
- Geometric cathedral patterns and contemporary abstract designs
- Memorial inscriptions, donor dedications, and approved scripture text
- Artwork coordinated across multiple windows, doors, sidelights, and transoms
Existing glass or a replacement window project
For suitable existing clear glass, a professional installer can apply the approved film after the glazing and site conditions have been reviewed.
When an old decorative plastic panel must be removed, your glass company supplies and installs the appropriate replacement glass. CGWF supplies the custom printed film and design support. The glazing contractor confirms glass type, frame suitability, installation method, and any project requirements. Film itself is not a replacement glazing panel.
From a Georgia glass-company sample to your design
CGWF produced a custom church-window sample for a glass company in Georgia: a multicolored pane composition, a central three-cross medallion, and a personalized memorial dedication. The sample demonstrates how color, texture, symbolism, and lettering can be combined in one coordinated design.
Developed as a physical design sample, it shows the color and detail available for a coordinated church-window composition. For your project, we prepare artwork around your actual window layout and confirm the appearance by sample before production.
Memorial windows and coordinated sanctuary series
A dedication can be incorporated into the artwork while keeping the main composition consistent across a series. Individual windows can carry different names or symbols within a shared border and color palette.
Your church approves the wording, spelling, symbolism, and complete arrangement before printing. Provide the exact dedication text and any denominational design requirements with your inquiry.
How to plan your church stained-glass project
Ask for a quotation that identifies artwork, film, installation, access equipment, and any replacement glazing separately. Our pricing guide explains the general installed-film range; church-specific costs depend on the full scope.
- Send a project name, location, photos of the windows, and your design direction.
- Provide exact glass dimensions, shapes, spacing, and the overall layout. Include the glass company or installer if one is already involved.
- Review the artwork, sample, installation scope, and itemized quotation with our team.
- Approve the final design and arrange production and professional installation.

Questions about church window film
Is this traditional stained glass?
It is custom printed decorative window film applied to glass, with a stained-glass-inspired appearance and available raised UV-varnish texture. It does not use individually assembled colored glass and lead came.
Can church window film include memorial names or Bible verses?
Yes. We can incorporate approved dedication wording, names, dates, and requested scripture text into the design. Your church reviews the final wording and layout before production.
Can you match other windows in our church?
We can develop a complementary design using photographs, measurements, and color references. Exact matching to existing glass is not assumed; the proposed appearance is reviewed through artwork and a physical sample.
Can the film replace an existing Krinklglas panel?
Film needs a suitable glass surface. A glass company must assess the opening and supply replacement glass when needed. Our Krinklglas alternative guide explains the different construction and project paths.
How is durability addressed?
Review our published 10-year limited product warranty and cleaning instructions with the team. Confirm the selected glass, exposure, application, and project coverage before ordering.
